River Tam is one bad ass girl. A list of her abilities are as follows:

Psychic

»    River Tam is a psychic, and a remarkably powerful one at that - with one significant drawback. She has no real control over her ability at all. She struggles to filter peoples thoughts, emotions and memories, as well as separate them from her own, and this can contribute to her slips from lucidity.

»    She also dispays some telepathic perception and is able to foretell the future, though this seems to be limited to short term use only (i.e. happening within the day or so) and she struggles to convey these messages to other people in simple, clear cut forms. It is unclear whether or not this is because she 'sees the future' in this twisted, nursery rhyme like manner or if it is just her own choice of communication.

»    There have also been instances where she has displayed heightened perception (such as knowing when someone close to her has been injured, and finding her way out of unknown complex buildings that are heavily guarded) although these are by no means all-encompassing and reliable. These abilities only seem to kick in as a result of extreme heightened emotions (whether hers or the people around her) and usually work in a 'fight or flight' style response to mortal or fatal imminent danger.

Proficiency in Combat

»    Hand to Hand - Due to her time in The Academy River has essentially been conditioned into the ~~almost~~ perfect weapon. This means she's ridiculously good at kicking ass, basically. Her fighting style has an almost balletic style to it, in fitting with her being a dancer and an extremely talented one at that. Her first real fight scene is triggered by a code released by the government, but by the canon point she has been taken from she is shown to make a conscious decision to use her skill to keep the people she loves safe. Here is an example of her hand to hand combat skills in action. Normally she isn't shown to be much of a fighter, even becoming visibly distressed and shying away from violent acts around her, but when prompted by extreme emotional duress she is extremely capable in a fight.

»    Weapons (firearms & melee) - In fitting with her hand to hand skills, River is also extremely talented with melee weapons and uses them to her advantage. In terms of firearms, it seems to be less experience with them and more from a mathematical point that she draws her talents - without looking, River incapacitated three different spread out attackers with only three bullets, though it does not seem that she managed this from experience with a gun itself, and rather just calculated the angles and trajectory necessary to take out the assailants.

My questions to you are these:

1) Can River access your characters thoughts? Can she read their minds, essentially? Are there reasons she can't access them (stronger psychic power/mental blocks etc) and are you comfortable with her accessing their thoughts/emotions/memories? If yes, a little detail/link to history would be nice, and a little tl;dr of the thoughts/emotions in tags are always appreciated :)
2) If the answer to the above is no, what will she get? For characters with mental blocks/more controlled psychic powers - will it just be a blank slate or is there anything in particular River will get from your character?
3) Can River hurt your character? This isn't something I intend to use unless necessary, but she is capable of taking down multiple assailants with ease. She kicks ass and takes names. See above linked video for reference. Is your character able to overpower her? Are you comfortable with her incapacitating your character if/when the situation calls for it?
